Home and Dry Forum urges UK fishermen to complete online survey
Commercial fishermen who complete a short online survey about the recent Home and Dry safety campaign will have a chance to win £150 of gift vouchers.
The Home and Dry Fishing Safety Forum wants to know more about where and how fishermen find safety information, so even fishermen who have not seen the campaign are urged take part.
The Forum is chaired by Seafish and involves a range of industry bodies and training organisations. Its ultimate goal is zero preventable deaths at sea.
It promotes critical fishing safety messages through the Home and Dry campaign. This year, the annual campaign focused on the theme of ‘safer fishermen, stronger communities’ and focused on the need for robust risk assessments and the ways single-handed fishermen can reduce the risk of entanglement on their vessels.
All survey feedback is anonymous and will help the Home and Dry Forum understand the effectiveness, suitability and impact of its work supporting fishermen’s safety.
It takes only five minutes, and everyone who takes part can enter a prize draw for £150 of Amazon vouchers.
