The Irish Fishing Industry has been added to the list of essential services by the Government

As of Saturday morning, Ireland is in lockdown and businesses around the country involved in non-essential services will have to close down for the next two weeks.

The Irish Government has issued a list of those essential services who are not restricted by the lockdown.

Workers involved in the fishing industry have been added to the list of those performing an essential service.

For any group of workers not on the essential services list the mandatory ‘stay at home order’ is in effect.
