The weather for the remainder of this week is set to remain windy and wet as stormy coming from the western Atlantic continues to have an effect.

A Low Pressure is 300 miles northeast of Iceland 955 and is expected to lie southeast of Iceland 978 by 0600 tomorrow. Another low pressure, the remainder of Storm Dennis, is lying off Fair Isle 952 moving away rapidly north-eastwards and its losing effect.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow, Marine Warning with west to southwest winds reaching gale force 8 today and tonight on coasts from Mizen Head to Erris Head to Malin Head.

In the UK, the Met Office has issued gale warning for all coastal waters with gale force westerly to south-westerly winds expected to reach force 9 in most coastal areas today. Rough or very rough seas will be accompanied by occasionally squally showers leading to good to occasionally moderate visibility in most places.
