The funeral arrangements for Mr Joseph (Joe) Sinnott (65), Seaview, Kilmore, Co Wexford have been announced.

His remains are reposing at Mulligans Funeral Home, the Faythe, Wexford today and Tuesday from 3.00pm until 8.00pm. Funeral prayers on Wednesday at 11.15am followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Kilmore for funeral mass at 12.00 noon with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery Kilmore.

It has been requested for family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the RNLI.

The search for Mr William Whelan (41) has been called off for the night and will resume again tomorrow morning.

The search continued today for the Wexford fisherman who has been missing since Saturday night. Poor weather conditions hampered visibility this morning and led to a delay in the 8.15am start.

Operations eventually got under way until after 9.00am when the lifeboats launched from the RNLI stations in Kilmore Quay and Dunmore East. The R117 helicopter again joined the search from Waterford Airport and as on Sunday, the search was co-ordinated at sea by the LE Ciara naval vessel.

The search is scheduled to resume tomorrow morning but again poor sea conditions forecasted for the area which will hamper the search operation.
