Christmas is that time of the year to take a bit of a break and recharge the batteries here at The Fishing Daily.
It’s also the time of year we should spare a thought for others who are not as lucky as what we are.
In particular this Christmas we should spare a thought for our friends with family in the Philipines whose homes and lives have been wiped out by Typhoon Odette.
It has been a tough year again in the industry. There are fishing families out there missing family members this Christmas. We send our condolences to them at this time.
Again this Christmas, and especially with another COVID lockdown pending, there are people who feel trapped. Keep in touch with each other and if you need help, reach out. Nobody’s perfect. That’s why there is help there.
If you get bored over the break there’s plenty of old news and features and if you feel like it there are 24 podcasts there to be listened to or relistened to if you have been kind enough to listen to them before.
I am going to leave you with Christmas Wishes. Look after yourselves and each other. Stay safe and we will be back again on 30 January.
