CFTO announces strategic agreement for sustainable growth, retaining jobs while managing vessels for innovative, efficient tropical tuna fishing

Following years of significant challenges—including the global health crisis, geopolitical tensions, and escalating energy and logistics costs—the announcement signifies a transformative phase for the French tropical tuna fishing company.
Sale of Key Vessels with Operational Continuity
CFTO has sold three of its purse seiners—DRENNEC, GLENAN, and TREVIGNON—to Oman-based Rawanq Al Salam International LLC. Despite the sale, CFTO will retain operational management of these vessels, ensuring the continuity of its fishing and product sales operations.
