Linetech, the next generation in all-electric longline handling system
Launching the world`s first all-electric longline system
Catch Linetech is a fully electric mechanical long line system developed by Mørenot and unlike hydraulic systems, Catch Linetech reduces noise and ensures an improved working environment.
The electric long line system is being presented during DanFish International taking place this week. – The system provides more precise and accurate control, easier maintenance and is equipped with the latest technology for higher efficiency and more durability, says Alf Rune Ose, Sales director longline and pots in Mørenot Fishery.
Complete Supplier
The Catch LineTech system consists of hauler, hook cleaning roto-brushes, hook separator, magazine packer and a servo driven baiting machine with versions for both coastal and offshore vessels, all designed from the outset as electric systems, rather than having been adapted from existing hydraulic equipment. Mørenot already has a long background in producing both longlines and hooks, so the addition of deck hardware to the range making the company a complete supplier.
One system – several advantages
The core of the Catch LineTech system is the E-Hauler, designed to be flexible and to make hauling as smooth as possible to minimise loss of fish from the line, and easily adjustable for speed and torque. The hook splitter has all the capabilities of other such systems on the market, but operates with a much lower noise level and has more options for operation to be fine-tuned than has previously been possible.
